Prisoner No. 299 is on death row at Kalaghati Jail. One night, just before his execution, he vanishes from his cell. Chaitanya and Madhav are the detectives assigned to the case, and with no clues other than a diary written by Miguel, they must solve the mystery and find out where Miguel went.
