Biography

Emi’s encounters with the phenomenon began with a calling — one that drew her inexplicably from her native Italy to Costa Rica. In Nuevo Arenal, she and her husband, David, opened Los Platillos Voladores (“The Flying Saucers”), an Italian restaurant that has drawn locals from across Costa Rica and travelers from around the world. Since relocating, Emi has become a quiet but steady force within the experiencer community — offering connection, warmth, and a place where the extraordinary can be spoken about openly.
